Journey Through Lent 2024
Lent is an important time at St Michael & St John's RC Primary School so we are doing lots of activities throughout Lent to find out all about it. Take a look below to see what we have been up to on our journey so far.
Week 1
We started this week with our Lent Launch assembly from the GIFT Team who told us all about Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent.
Week 2
We continue our journey through Lent creating some Lent prayers from our prayer tree as we reflect on the elements of Lent - give, act and pray.
Week 3
We continue through Lent and finding out about the Easter story. Our pupil led worship helps us to focus and reminds us what Lent is all about.
Week 4
In our final week before Holy Week we continue focusing on the three main elements during Lent of 'Give, Act, Pray'.
