New Starters EYFS 2023
Hello and Welcome to EYFS
Welcome to the most important part of SSMJ. Mrs Canavan and I both feel we have the best job ever! We are incredibly lucky to work with the youngest members of our SSMJ family who make everyday amazing. Although we were an 'Early Adopter' school 2020/21, we started an exciting chapter in 2021/2022 as we embraced the 'New EYFS Statutory Curriculum'. It has been developed considerably to ensure children in EYFS get the best possible start. We will be working very hard to ensure every moment is a learning experience. Below you will find lots of information all about EYFS and what we have been up to over the past few years, the most recent information is at the top.

Welcome to EYFS
Welcome to our amazing EYFS. I know we are biased but we think this is the best class! Its the first taste of school and for that reason the most important one. Children get to experience school life while playing alongside their friends. We get to have the most fun and make every opportunity a learning one.
The staff in EYFS want the children to have as many experiences as possible and therefore constantly change the classroom to reflect the children's interests. Take a look at the tabs above to see what we have been up to. To see our most recent adventures click on the 'Whats Happening' tab.
