Nuffield Early Language Intervention
As part of an initiative funded by the Department for Education in response to Covid-19, our
school is being offered access to a programme called Nuffield Early Language Intervention
(NELI). The programme is designed for Reception pupils and involves providing targeted small
group and one-to-one support for children who would benefit from additional support with their
language and early literacy skills. Please click on the letter below to find out more.
Blended Learning Bringing Home & School Together
During lockdown some of our children are not in school. To support their learning at home we teach the children together 'Live' through zoom. EYFS enjoy four 'Live' teaching sessions daily for Worship, Phonics, English and Maths. These 'Live' teaching sessions are a chance for everyone to be 'together' in one session and help support the children's mental health and well being. We have found it an effective way to support parents who are supporting children at home too.
