Autumn Term 2
The children have been observing the effects of Autumn within their local environment. We explored the scientific changes of the apples off our school gardens apple tree.
The children have enjoyed learning about hibernating animals and Autumn trees. We produced some crafts around this topic.
We enjoyed looking for the different signs of Autumn in our outdoor environment.
Autumn Term 1
We have been learning about the different parts of our body.
We have also been learning about the human skeleton and some of our bodies key organs.
We really enjoyed going on a senses walk around our school. We recorded some great observations.
We have been learning about using our different sense in our taste experiment.
We have been learning about different animal groups. We first learnt about mammals and then reptiles and birds. We have been learning to compare each group.
We have been learning how to sort animals into a Venn Diagram.
