Computing

"All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made."

At our school, the Computing curriculum equips pupils with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Through engaging and practical learning experiences, pupils develop their understanding of computer science, information technology and digital literacy.

From the EYFS onwards, children learn how technology works, how to use it safely and responsibly, and how to create digital content. As they progress through our school, pupils build their computational thinking skills through coding, problem-solving and logical reasoning activities. They learn to design, write and debug programs, analyse data and understand how digital systems operate.

Online safety is embedded throughout the curriculum, ensuring that pupils can navigate the digital world responsibly and confidently. We encourage children to become creative, independent and reflective users of technology who understand both its opportunities and challenges.

Our Computing curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, foster innovation and prepare pupils for future learning, employment and life in a rapidly evolving technological society.
