What's Happening in Year 6

Dear Parents,

 

Welcome back to YEAR 6!

 I hope you have had a lovely holiday even if it was limited in what we could do.  Here is some information about this term. Remember to check out our School Twitter Feed or Class Dojo for more up to date information.

Subjects

In RE we will be continuing to  develop our own personal worship through leading weekly worship in class. We will also be studying Baptism and Advent.

In History we will be learning all about Crime and Punishment. In Science we will be learning about Electricity and finishing off some work on Light. In PE we are learning about Hockey.  In Design And Technology we will be creating our own Christmas Cards with an exciting feature linked to Science. We will also be learning about Music and PSHE with Miss Danbury.

P.E

P.E. will take place on a Thursday. At the moment children are coming into school on that day dressed for PE with encouragement to wear to school jumper.

Water bottles

Please ensure your child brings a water bottle in school.

Homework

Your child will be given homework and a set of spellings to learn each week. The homework and spellings will be due in for the following Friday. We continue to use TEAMS.
